has confirmed three teams will compete in California Pro Beach Soccer League Match Day II in San Luis Obispo on Sunday, March 4. The teams include San Francisco BSC, Shoreline BSC, and FLO Goatees. The event will be a round-robin style tournament with each team playing 2 matches. The FIFA and BSWW approved scoring system will be followed to determine the eventual California Pro Beach Soccer tournament champion. 3 points will be awarded for a win in regular time and 2 points for a win in extra-time or in a penalty shoot-out.
California Pro Beach Soccer extends a warm welcome to a new team. The FLO Goatees, led by San Luis Obispo local Dana McGregor, has with experience on the sand and a message to spread. The organization behind the Goatees is FLO Soccer Ministries, a non-profit whose purpose is to use the universal love language of soccer to show kids all around the world Who LOVE is. California Pro Beach Soccer has launched the California Pro Beach Soccer League. The CPBSL is currently seeking and confirming additional sponsors and participating teams. The league plans to continue its inaugural 2012 season this summer and fall. Upon the US Beach Soccer National Team's return from the BSWW Cancun Cup 2012, San Francisco Beach Soccer Club are already back on the sand training and planning for upcoming events. Although Team USA left Mexico without any points to show for their efforts, San Francisco Beach Soccer Club player Yuri Morales netted 6 goals in 3 matches including a hat trick against CONCACAF rivals and FIFA World Cup 2011 semi-finalists El Salvador.
On Sunday, February 26, San Francisco Beach Soccer Club will host Beach Soccer games at Ocean Beach. The training matches are open to the public and the team is looking to identify players who want to continue playing the game either professionally or just recreationally. Then on Sunday, March 4, San Francisco BSC and Shoreline BSC will face-off in San Luis Obispo for California Pro Beach Soccer exhibition matches.
In the coming months, California Pro Beach Soccer and San Francisco Beach Soccer Club will announce partnerships with the sponsors and teams that will take part in the inaugural 2012 California Pro Beach Soccer League. CPBS League will host matches in San Francisco, Avila Beach, and San Diego. Stay tuned because with so much excitement on the horizon and summer on the way, the sand is sure to heat up fast.

San Francisco Beach Soccer Club has announced a partnership with Shoreline Beach Soccer Club and Pro Am Beach Soccer Championships to create Beach Soccer California Pro, a series of professional Beach Soccer events to be held in early 2012.
On Sunday, January 29, SF BSC and Shoreline BSC will join forces at Avila Beach in San Luis Obispo for the kick-off event that will feature several US Beach Soccer National Team players. Players from the partner clubs will train and play exhibition matches and club officials will meet to map out the future of Beach Soccer California Pro.
The following Sunday, February 5, the urban Beach Soccer boys from SF BSC will feel right at home at Ocean Beach in San Francisco where clubs from the Pro Am Beach Soccer Championships will be eagerly awaiting a chance to take on their local rivals. The teams slated for this exciting day of competition include Club Marin, Kidoideira, Di Bufala, and, of course, SF BSC.
